Developing a skilled and qualified workforce leverages the abundant talent pool in villages, benefitting both the economy and the community. SauryaUrja has developed more work opportunities for those who would otherwise be school dropouts through its Skill Development and Solar Training Institutes.
SauryaUrja provides practical training and guaranteed employment to the trainess under its skill development program.
SauryaUrja founded a Skill Development and Solar Training Institute within its Solar Park in 2019 for this intent. After the center’s successful service, it was relocated it to Phalodi so that more youth could benefit from this initiative. The aim of this institute is to provide local youth with job-based skill training. Employment opportunities include Domestic Data Entry Operator, Plumber, Mason General, Self Employed Tailor, Assistant Electrician, and several others.
Bhadla Centre
On December 23rd, 2019, this centre was officially opened. Around 40 young people have been educated in the following courses since its inception:
- Plumber General
(Minimum Qualification is 5th Class) (420 Hrs. training) - Solar PV Installer
(Minimum Qualification is 10th Class) (400 Hrs. training)
Phalodi Centre
The centre was founded and is now fully operational to resolve the key unemployment issue following the end of the lockdown in September 2020. About 120 youth have been trained in the following skills in just a few months, and over 100 are currently being trained:
- Self Employed Tailor
(Minimum Qualification is 8th Class) (440 Hrs. training) - Domestic Data Entry Operator
(Minimum Qualification is 10th Class) (500 Hrs. training) - Plumber General
(Minimum Qualification is 5th Class) (420 Hrs. training) - Solar PV Installer
(Minimum Qualification is 10th Class) (400 Hrs. training)
SauryaUrja intends to train and provide employment to approximately 3000 youth over the next three years.
